Botox Injections
Botox is a very effective treatment for frown lines and facial wrinkles especially in the forehead and around the eyes in the "crow's feet" area. It is FDA approved for facial wrinkles. In most patient's dramatic results can be seen in 7-14 days. Botox is a natural protein, not a synthetically created chemical which has no permanent side effects. The effects last between 3-6 months, but vary by individual.
Dermal Filler Injections
Juvederm, Hylaform, Hylaform Plus, and Restylane are all cosmetic dermal fillers made of nonanimal based hyaluronic acid. They are all FDA approved for the correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance present in all living cells throughout the body which helps to maintain skin volume. Dermal fillers are injected just below the surface of the skin, and add volume to the skin which results in a smoother appearance to the skin. Immediate results can be seen and last up to 6 months or even longer. No skin test is necessary.
Dental Block For Dermal Filler Injections
A relatively painless block can be given to numb the area of the lips, and the surrounding tissues in preparation for dermal filler injections. In this way, the lips can be injected repeatedly with no sensation of pain.
Medical Grade Chemical Peels
The goal of a chemical peel is to remove the outermost layers of the skin, using various types of chemicals or enzymes. Our peels vary from very superficial such as a "lunchtime" peel to superficial to a moderate peel which requires more "downtime" or recovery time. We tailor the peel for the individual patient , taking into account the patient's skin type, medical history, and their expectations.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a discipline which was developed by Michel Pistor, a French doctor It involves a series of relatively painless, microinjections into the skin and the subcutaneous tissue at various depths, achieving the desired therapeutic result. Cosmetically mesotherapy has a variety of potential applications including cellulite reduction, fat reduction, face and neck rejuvenation, and hair re-growth. A clear, solution is delivered directly to the target area in minute amounts thereby minimizing local and systemic side effects while amplifying the results.
Cosmelan
Cosmelan is a depigmentation treatment for individuals who have hyperpigmentation due to melasma, cholasma, chemical peels, laser or IPL, and acne scarring. It evens out the pigmentation on the skin. It requires an application of a mask by the Nurse Practitioner and a home care regimen with ongoing monitoring and care by the NP.
Sclerotherapy
This procedure is a safe, pain free, and non surgical method of obliterating small spider and reticular veins in our office. A mild sclerosing solution is injected in the veins using a very small needle. After a few days, the vessel walls shrink and the veins disappear. Most normal activities may be resumed after the treatment.

Facials
A facial is a gift one can give themselves or others. During and after a facial, the person has the opportunity to relax their mind and body. The facial relaxes the muscles in the face, neck and chest and allows the toxins to escape. We offer several types of facials including, oxygen facial, regenerative, cleansing, energizing, anti-oxidant, and specially designed combinations of any of these facials.
Tattoo Reversal
There may come a time that a tattoo is no longer wanted for any variety of reasons. We use a safe, and effective technique which has the least amount of discomfort in the process of tattoo reversal. A topical anesthetic is used to numb the skin, a permanent make up machine is used in combination with a special pigment to draw out the tattoo dye. A scab will form, and fall off in 6-8 days. The skin needs to be kept clean and dry after the procedure.
Acne Treatment
We offer several forms of acne treatment which may include oral medication, topical medication or a combination. A chemical peel is also an option. We educate the patient on the proper care of the skin in order to diminish the current outbreak, and prevent them in the future.
